I really enjoy experiencing random acts of kindness in this crazy world: the man who gives up his seat on the train, the woman who chased me half a block to hand me the glove that I dropped, a group of people holding the elevator door as I rush into work, the girl who moves her yoga mat to make room for another in class.. it all warms my heart.

Just another night...
I’m sleepy but not tired. A little stir crazy, but unwilling to leave the house due to the cold. Ahhh. What to do!?

Pure Food and Wine
Is officially my favorite restaurant in Manhattan. Went with one old friend and two new… we shared 4 appetizers, 5 entrees and 3 deserts. We wandered around in a food coma afterwards, then went to my friend’s hotel and played Scrabble (I won!). Board game pictures coming in the am.

This month has been CRAZY at the office. Currently having a cocktail with coworkers, with tons more on my plate to accomplish. This is what work life has come to.
I do love my job. Seriously.
I love that there’s a handle of Kettle and unlimited free pops in the fridge! Mmmm. Nothing like a little cocktail to get the weekend off on the right foot.

Today just feels weird. People are in weird moods. Everything seems hostile. And I keep telling myself “just start new now” but nothing’s really changing. I need a shift! Coffee time, perhaps?!
