Let me make it very clear that I think this t shirt is clever, but my comment is not meant to say I prefer Obama over Hillary. I don’t think it is appropriate to share political views with people you don’t know, maybe that’s just how I was raised. So it’s no surprise I’m not a fan or a wearer of political ts.
Voting is a privilege and we should respect it as such. If you are swayed by the popularity of a t shirt, I’m scared.
No, this isn’t “clever.” It’s sexist and racist.
And this is a democracy. Voting ain’t a “privilege.” It’s a right.
Snap.
My own thoughts on political tees are that people want to be trendy and to vote for a certain candidate right now is the trendy thing to do. Ask 10 people wearing a political shirt to tell you why they vote the way they do… my guess is you’ll get a few “uhhhs” and a sprinkle of “ums”.
