If you plan on traveling back to the Midwest this week, try again.

I’ve never made the drive between NYC and Indiana before yesterday, but just a night after “Blizzard09” the roads were completely clear with smooth (to no) traffic. Door to door was 11 hours which included 3 rest breaks and 3 wrong turns. Screw the airlines! Rent a car!
